LM 1 Connection problem

Quickstop [UK]

Combating adversyty.
So I got the wideband installed, but I need to make the ECM talk to the narrowband output, and for that I need to use LM Manager to edit some stuff.

Unfortunately I don't have a COM port on my laptop so I have to use the Belkin adapter (F5U103) which I have that works with DATAMASTER ok.

But the LM Manager cannot find the device, and so does not start and thus neither can I.

Anyone got any ideas?

Anyone? Can't do anything until I fix this.

Thanks

Only idea I have is to get a different laptop with the proper connection point. If its not finding it, it must be that.

Re: LM 1 Connection problem

i was having a lot of connection issues with mine, i ended up having to send it to innovate.
but if you play around with the timing.
as in turn off lm1, close the lm programmer, turn on lm1, and turn on programmer.
i had to fiddle with it then i could connect up.
