According to the instructions the top ring shoul be at .22 and the second (gapless) ring at .14
We set the top ring at .24 and the second at .16
Just in case she get's warm... rather not have the rings grow together and snap.
Hope this helps others that do the same thing down the road on their projects.

This is the first set I've ever worked with. I'm showing a local guy here how to assemble his Typhoon engine. He had ordered these rings. They were purchased for a .30 bore and still needed to be opened up a bit. They went together with out any glitches. Just a extra step on the second ring.
I've read that same debate about gapless on boosted applications and the contravercey about haveing the second ring seal and floating the top ring and making it loose seal. Alot of theorys.
I've used regular rings in the past and had no issues.

I have run total seals in my bowtie motor for over four years now and have tuned my truck to run 28-30# boost. My valve covers are only vented with the small K&N breathers and I have yet to ever see a drop of oil on my covers. If fact if you pull either of the filters off and stick your finger inside of the filter you hardly find even a hint of oil. (I know what you're all thinking...) But kidding aside the total seals have done me right. I will look for info on the gaps...not sure if I have it though. This motor was built by McCoy, "back in the day" and didn't come with a lot of specs.
Talk to Waller, he has it down. Set your's up the way he sets his up and you will be fine.
