Where to buy brakes?

I searched but didn't find any topic. I am planning on doing a brake upgrade. Where is a good place to buy calipers, rotors, pads etc. I'm thinking of getting c5 z06 hardware and doing the cbr kit.

I've checked eBay and gmpartsdirect.

Yeah between those threads and the places you mentioned, and ebay/craigslist, I don't know where else you would order from.

Figured I would post this here so if anyone is searching they can have more info.

FYI:

I purchased the braket kit from cbr performance (user id TT350 on this board). They were helpful in providing the parts list before I purchased. The brackets are very nice looking. The only thing I did was coated them with some black paint. Here is the parts list he provided directly from the instructions.

"Here is a copy and past out or my manual.

If you have purchased the C-5 (Y-Body) conversion bracket kit, here is a list of parts required to complete your brake upgrade. These are 97-04 C-5 (Y-Body) Corvette front brake parts.

• Guide Pin – Part # 12530697 (Four Required)
• Guide Pin Boot – Part # 12530703 (Four Required)

• Left Rotor – Part # 10445857 (One Required)

NOTE: The above listed GM part numbers are accurate to the best of our knowledge!"

I purchased my calipers from www.kore3.com They were very helpful and very competitive pricing.

I purchased my dimpled and slotted rotors from www.brakeperformance.com I went with them because my boss has been daily driving his pontiac with them for probably 20k+ miles and said they work great with no issue at all. He actually has to be careful when he brakes because people almost rear end him he stops so quickly. There weren't a lot of options for dimpled rotors either. I wanted the look of cross drilled without the probability of cracking. They also come with a lifetime warranty against warping, materials and workmanship defects. They were a good price. Hopefully I am as satisfied as my boss is.
