Here's a few from the "post a pic of your truck taken today" thread to get you started.

Not to hijack, but has anyone actually done aftermarket high pressure lines and replaced the factory stuff?

I know Hood looked into it a while back and nothing ever came out of it. Anyone ever try there own stuff though? (on a stock AC unit that is. Question is clearly pointless if your running one of the $$$ aftermarket kits that looks 10 times better)

Re: pic of a/c pump hard lines

I ordered a replacement set of lines from Advance Auto about a month ago while I was home on leave in Texas. The OEM lines have the line from the back of the compressor to the condenser coming off the backside of the aluminum block, but the one I got had that same line coming off the TOP of the aluminum block! GRRRRR! It interfered with the intercooler tank and my dad and I had to be careful to slowly bend it to the point that it would clear the intercooler tank. I may see if I can change it out again to the proper lines later down the road, but when I had bought my Ty, the A/C needed attention and being from Texas and being stationed in Georgia, A/C is a must! LOL

i hear you there, in Oregon a/c is just a nice pleasure but i can understand where you would NEED it.

on another note i think the pump i have is not the correct one, i found the lines that match the ones in the pics and it won'y go in correctly, both sides have nipples that go into the back of the compressor and one nipple is longer than the other. so apparently some compressors are deeper inside than others
