Completed the rear seatbelt/shoulderbelt conversion(clone on an 87 base) and replaced all rear plastic pieces upper and lower(they are different). Now the only way to tell it's not a real Ty is to look at the VIN. Installed dual pod pillar trim. Moving on to rear disc conversion/front upgrade next.

Tore the truck down today to do everything to it that I've wanted to do for the last 6 months. It's really hard emotionally to tear down a running Sy... :)

Anyway, what got done today...
- Moved dist and MAP sensor into cowl area
- Ditched A/C condenser and moved IC 3" inboard to correct misaligned grille and bumper
- Installed new radiator overflow
- Re-installed PLX WB, Ostrich, and Alky
- Removed pounds of unnecessary wiring

Just moved all the cladding to the spare bedroom at my new place, where it will stay until I have money and time to have the truck painted:tdown:

Yesterday I ripped the front of my motor apart to replace the ALT bracket that I broke the other day! Painted the new one to go in and while that was drying I did the front pads and painted the calipers and center rotor section again. Today I put the front of the motor back together and bleed the rear brakes from fixing my brake line the other day and doing the rear brakes on it. I also have the repair a fuel line today on it so I can start driving it.

I replaced the driver side window motor. Took less than a hour. Replaced it with a Dorman motor from Auto Zone. It's quiet, just like the factory motor. $43.00.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

I put the front of my motor back together and think I finally figured out what was causing me to shread serpintine belts like crazy I believe. I pulled the alt. and set it on my work bench next to the stock one I took off when I replaced the motor. I measured the distance from the bench to the fan blade and boom off by an 1/8 in. I think that was my problem. So I hope I fixed that and then I blead the rear brake lines and tried to fix my fuel line with no luck, gotta get a some flair fittings and redo it tomorrow. Then I hope that is it for a while!
