Went and pick it up last night. And like most new owners, I too had problems getting it home. The alternator was bad and died before we could get it home. But shes got a new one and some other minor repairs and already did 4 boost launches! She's wearing her new Zr1 wheels and tires too.

Thanks Matt.

I guess I'll ask the question: Is it Sy 1914, 92 Ty 1914 or 93 Ty 1914?

Ok, sorry its a 93 Ty. Its forest green and grey cladding. I'll have pictures up soon. It was for sale up in Clackamas Or. He wanted 7500 for it and was advertising it as having a lean condition code (44) supposedly. After talking to him and selling my black blazer I went and picked up for $6K. It had a bad alternator. I put it on next day and its been running great!!! I kinda fiqured the lean issue was because the fuel pump didn't have enough voltage. I cant belief they couldn't fiqure that out. Good for me though.

Nope, I've got Scott's old truck. I thought it was funny it has the same name on the plate though.

Wow, so your green/grey had the same plate? I don't know any history on this TY. Its real clean, the cladding has faded and also worn the edge of the green paint where the cladding rubs. This must be a common problem, my blazer did the same thing with the stock plastic flares.

yea, Scott had that plate on my green/grey when he had it. might've been spelled slightly different- cant remember for sure.
I liked it too and thought about getting the same but decided to change it up a little to make it my own, and made my screen name to match.

Nice looking truck. It seems appropriate that a green/grey is in the green Pacific Northwest.

Well, I actually have the stock black hood but I advertised the truck with the cowl hood. I did rob alot of other stuff like the black wheels, I had spare grille, pillar pod with gauges, that sort of thing. The blazer I bought two years ago for $350! Went to the wrecking yard alot! I was trying to build a slight clone of the real thing.
